Simon Gatdet Lul, popularly known by his stage name Lul Simon, is an award-winning South Sudanese vocalist, a songwriter, and an oral narrator(arts). Lul ‘s wider introduction to vast number of fans across the globe was through one of his hits, “South Sudan Diva” in 2018. However, Lul did not stop there but kept making hit after hit. Hits like “follow your love”, “Angel”, “Kush Bae” are currently gravitating.
Like many celebrated Icons in the world, Lul had a humble beginning at Church as a lead Sunday schooler singing praise songs. This paved way to his participation in Turkana Folk songs and dance in Kakuma Refugee camp and to the representation of his school, competing in music festivals of Kenya. Currently under the management of Konekeel records, Lul’s talent is very captivating.
Beside Music, Lul Simon is a first year Electrical Engineering Student at The International University of East Africa based in Kampala-Uganda.
